My little genius at 23 months.

Hi friends, family and fans!   I hope you don’t mind, but I have decided to make my crazy life a little simpler by maintaining one blog.   What does this mean?  It means you will get to read and see little bits about my personal life on this blog too.  Don’t you feel special now?!?!

I think it is important for a photographer to connect with their clients so maybe a little look into my glamorous (ha!) life will let you know more about me and my personality and maybe it will help you decide if I am the photographer for your family.   Okay okay, enough babbling on my part.  Here is my little tid-bit for today…

Last week I pulled into the driveway, got Dylan out of the car and then went around to the other side to get Gavin.  When I opened the door, I saw this:

I freaked.  He was laughing.   I kept asking myself how on earth his bottom lip got so huge.  Did he get stung by a bee?  Did he fall before we got into the car and I didn’t see it?   Does he have allergies I am not aware of?   I then turned away for 2 seconds and when I looked back his lip was back to normal.  Was I hallucinating?  Gavin was still laughing.   He then reached up to his lip, pulled it down, and it stuck.  Then it all clicked in my head.  He had a lollipop on the way home and there was a sticky residue on his chin which was causing his lip to stick.   It must have felt weird because he sure thought it was funny and I know he had no idea how funny he looked.  Once I figured it out what happened I couldn’t stop laughing either.   I had to grab my camera before it stopped sticking.   It is the silly incidents like this that I cherish!!

…Miss Molly!!   Molly is turing one this month and she is on-the-go!   Molly started walking about 2 days prior to her session and she was not real interested in sitting now that she knows how to use those new found legs of hers.   Thankfully, with the help from her parents, cousins, and a bucket, I was able to get some photos of her sitting still too.

Aside from being on-the-go, Molly is just A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E.   I don’t think it can get any cuter than this little one.   Such a happy girl!  Big brown eyes and a huge smile that melts your heart.  Take a look and see what I mean……

I think this might be one of my favorite images ever!

M is for…

Another favorite.

Christy, Andy, and family, I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!
