On Sunday, I met up with one of my favorite clients to photograph their three adorable children. The oldest, Kaidin just turned 4 and their twins, Miya & Bode are about to turn 1. Kaidin is so full of life and he is in that independent stage. He didn’t want to be bothered with the camera, he wanted to play, explore and ride his skateboard. I can’t really blame him though. I did manage to squeeze a few smiles out of him before he took off in search of more exciting things to do.
Little Miya is a HAPPY little one. She smiled non-stop and her arms were just going with excitement.

The second part of my maternity session with Chantel was ‘family style’ and we headed on down to Orange’s Old Towne Plaza, aka The Orange Circle. I wish we had more daylight left so we could have explored more. There are so many fun places to shoot around the Plaza.
I LOVE this next one. It is so ‘them’.

OK, I have been a really bad blogger lately and I have a lot of catching up to do. I have been trying to work on a new blog format and it isn’t working as I had envisioned so I am going to stick with the old format until I have time to mess with it. I have some other good news which I will share with you shortly. :)
In the meantime, I am going to start with a handful of photos of my friend Chantel and her perfect baby belly. I think she looks stunning. Can you say “HELLO HOT MAMA!!!”? She can rock a pregnant belly, that is for sure!
I took an absurd amount of photos during this session so it has taken me forever to get through them. Maybe I felt a bit rusty since I hadn’t had a session since early December and my hormones are all wacky. I don’t know, but I took a ton of the same thing and since I am a perfectionist I sit here for way too long and nit-pick at which one I like the best. Here are some from the first set up:
